beginnings
It’s 2020, and like everyone else, Ruume’s co-founder, Jean-marc perelmuter, was looking for a solution to connect with his friends and family around the globe, whether across the city 10km away or across the atlantic 8000km away. However, the leading platforms left a lot to be desired; instead of connecting, there were connectivity issues, faceless grids, and time limits, resulting in frustration.
Thus, Ruume was born. The solution to a better online meeting interface that increased engagement, brought smiles to people’s faces, and a seamless solution for everyone.

As the cliche goes, there’s no i in team. We actively listen to each other and believe in productive friction. If teams and individuals are silent, we haven’t created a trusting environment which means we aren’t utilizing our teams’ expertise or skillset, and that’s a big f#*k up.

We can’t execute on transparency and collaboration without communication. There’s no such thing as overkill when it comes to our communication. When we know all the details, we’re in the loop, and that’s key.
